Engineer of the Year

Congratulations, Jorge L. Morales, P.E., CFM!

The TSPE Travis Chapter Engineer of the Year Award is the highest honor given to an individual TSPE member. Eligibility is restricted to engineers whose sustained and unusual contributions have improved the public welfare and the advancement of his/her profession. The candidate should be an engineer of recognized standing, preferably registered, and a citizen of Texas.

Young Engineer of the Year

Congratulations, Gaby Vasquez, M.S., P.E.!

The TSPE Travis Chapter Young Engineer of the Year Award is the highest honor given to a Young TSPE member. Eligibility is restricted to engineers who are age 34 or under, graduate of an accredited engineering school, EIT or PE, and a member in good standing of TSPE and NSPE. TSPE seeks to acknowledge the recipient's technical ability, professional achievements, civic and humanitarian activities. â€‹

Engineering Student of the Year

Congratulations, Audrey Baker!

The TSPE Travis Chapter Engineering Student of the Year Award is given to one student member each year who is currently enrolled and is in good standing with their university; is a current member of NSPE/TSPE enrolled in an ABET accredited engineering program; and is a citizen or permanent resident. This award was established in 2026 at the Travis Chapter and in 2023 at the Texas Society of Professional Engineers level.
